“If your a fan of great rock & roll, especially classic rock, you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy of “Think Outside The Burning Box” by Chicago’s own Dave Bellah.
From the opening accapella vocals on Heart in Chains, I knew I was in for a treat. Throughout the record (yes I still call them that) on tracks like Say What You Gotta Say, Running Out Of Love, Deceit and Lonely Nights you will hear echoes of some of rock’s finest: Skynyrd, AC/DC, Dicky Betts, 38 Special, Boston and a bit of Dennis Deyoung for good measure.
Every track has something good to offer including the nostalgic closing track, Pictures of The Past. Dave’s clear tenor is front and center and his guitar work shines.
For those about to rock-give it a shot! You won’t be sorry.
